Customize Pinned Collections in the Photos App (iOS 18)

The latest version of iOS brought with it some major changes to the Photos app. The app has been completely redesigned, so you might find yourself a bit lost when you open it for the first time. Luckily, it’s easy to make it a little less cluttered.

The new iOS 18 Photos app is a bit overwhelming at first glance but can easily be customized to make it a little less daunting. One way you can declutter the Photos app is under the Pinned Collections section. Here’s how to customize Pinned Collections iOS 18 Photos app:

  1. Open the Photos app.

  2. Scroll down and find Pinned Collections. Tap Modify.

  3. Under Suggestions, you can tap the green plus icon to pin a collection.

  4. Tap the minus icon to remove a collection.

  5. Tap Delete to confirm that you want to remove the collection. Don't worry; you can add it again if you change your mind.

  6. Touch and hold the three horizontal lines, and drag them to rearrange your collections.

  7. When you’re done, simply tap the X to save your changes.

  8. You can swipe left and right on the Pinned Collections to navigate them.
