How to Reboot iPhones

How to Force Restart iPhone X & Newer Models

Older iPhones could only be rebooted manually using the Home button, but newer models don't have one. If you need to force restart iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 15, or iPhone 15 (AKA iPhones with Face ID):

  1. Press the volume up button and quickly release it.

How to Force Restart iPhone 8 & iPhone SE (2nd & 3rd Generations)
